It’s hard to believe it’s already been 3 weeks since our amazing time at SXSW in Austin, Texas; the whole team is back together again at ZAUBAR HQ in Berlin, and we’re refreshed and ready to go!

ZAUBAR was chosen from over 600 startups to pitch in the category Extended Reality and Immersive Technology at the 14th annual SXSW Pitch, directly competing against 4 other international companies. The conference was an excellent opportunity to network with other international startups, mingle with investors looking for new connections, and demonstrate everything that the team has been working so hard on. While ZAUBAR’s pitch was received very well by the panel and audience alike, we were not one of the chosen finalists. Regardless, the feedback and the experience itself was undeniably valuable, and we’re already hard at work implementing improvements!

Following the conference, Anne-Sophie and Stefan continued their USA-tour in California, giving them the chance to meet with more investors, potential project-partners, and some familiar happy faces! Tour guide Frank Marx (Frank-in-Cisco) showed ZAUBAR around his favourite places in San Francisco, and gave us a sneak-peek of his upcoming city tour in AR.

We were so grateful to be invited to this year’s South by Soutwest conference and startup pitch, and we made sure to take full advantage of the trip! Thank you to everyone we met along the way, and a special thank you to Digital Hub Initiative, ZDF, MediaTech Hub Potsdam, and German Innovation!
